The pilots and cabin crew of the first Air India flight departing from Kochi to return the expatriates tomorrow morning were given training at the Ernakulam Medical College.
The team at the medical college were trained to wear PPE suits and to handle health emergencies that may occur during the flight. Detailing of wearing suits and carefully removing them according to protocol were also done. They were also given free kits. RTPCR testing of all was performed.
Crew’s confidence in the crew has increased tenfold since the training, Captain Partha said. The medical college training was given to a team of 12 people including 4 pilots.
